I plan to solder the sensor component and place it beneath a wood piece which would act as a table counter. Users would be able to place varying ingredients on to the table to continue the baking process. The arduino would be connected to a p5 project that will instruct the users what to put on the table and only move on to the next step if they put the correct item on. I would ideally be able to detect the different items through their weight, but I need to find an easy way to make some objects heavier (I need something that’s small and relatively heavy). I want to be able to stimulate varying senses of the user (visual, smell, audio) so I plan to add an audio component as well as a scent component.

Last week, I completed the 3D models in Fusion 360 for my ingredients and also completed a prototype of the miniature kitchen using cardboard. For my actual kitchen, I’d like to make the counter longer and shorter and reduce the width of the shelf which I will put my ingredients on.
